Abstract

Glass tube with finger grip from plastic material, esp. for packing and dispensing chemicals, including sleeve from polypropylene tightly fitted over the end of the glass tube. One end of the sleeve is provided with two outwardly projecting opposite, flanges for holding and handling the tube and the other end of the sleeve has its leading ring shaped surface chamfered toward the sleeve bore to facilitate easy insertion of the glass tube. The leading end of the tube is either chamfered at an angle to its axis or the chamber forms part of the widened and rounded end of the tube. The sleeve has, inside its bore, projecting ring shaped shoulder positioned opposite the outwards projecting flanges against which the end of the inserted glass tube is located.
