Abstract

A two-part multicellular mould for producing sweetmeats, esp. chocolates, has the mould halves made of a weakly malleable light alloy, with complementary recesses lined with a layer of Al powder agglomerated with a hardenable elastomer or synthetic resin, the shape of the figures being moulded in the hardened lining. The elastomer is pref. a silicone.
