Abstract

Dismountable parquet flooring has panels each with a ply of oak or other high-quality wood, to whose lower face is glued a ply or layer of agglomerated particles, which has a groove on the four sides and is used with false jointing tongues of plastics, pref. PVC. Spec. this if flexible enough to be inserted continuously into the grooves, but rigid enough to resist relative displacement of the panels.
