Abstract

5-alkoxymethyl sulphamoyl anthranilic acids of formula (I): (where X = Cl or PhO opt. substd. by halogen, lower alkyl or alkoxy, and R = opt. branched is not >9 C alkyl), are diuretics and saluretics, which hardly affect the normal K-level.
