Abstract

L-Citrulline-DL-malate is prepd from L-citrulline (I) and DL-malic acid (II) in aq soln. It may be admin orally at a daily dose of 0.5-3g, and it is formulated as a drink, effervescent tablets, or granules. In an example 8.7g (I) and 6.2g (II) were dissolved separately in water at 50 degrees C. The solns were combined and the water evapd by lyophilisation to give 15g of the salt.
