Title compsn. contains 100-900 pbw hydrated MgCO3.nH2O (where n = 3 or 5) and 100 pbw unsatd. polyester resin contg. (I) 80-30 wt.% unsatd. polyester prepolymer obtd. by condensn. of >=1 dicarboxylic acid (e.g. phthalic anhydride) >=1 glycol (e.g. diethylene glycol) and >=1 unsatd. dicarboxylic acid (e.g. maleic anhydride) or a prepolymer with terminal double bonds, the prepolymer being the reaction prod. of a diepoxy cpd. with epoxy end gps. and an ester cpd. with double bonds or an acid with terminal double bonds; and (II) >=20-70 wt.% of >=1 vinyl cpd. (e.g. styrene). Reinforcing fillers may be present.
