Abstract

The fibre composite is prepd. by melt spinning a mixt. of the component polymers, and consists of 55-98 wt.% polyester, which is the matrix-forming component, and 45-2 wt.% polyamide. Specif. the polyester component is polyethyleneglycol terephthalate, and the polyamide component is polyamide 6. The product may be used e.g. as synthetic leather, as filter padding, or for covering soil etc.
