Abstract
The blowing during refining processes is controlled and the bath temp. determined by picking up, recording and displacing of oscillation acceleration values, there having been established a definite relationship between the metal bath and the oscillation acceleration. The method is used in steel converter refining, permitting close control of the refining process without recourse to visual aids.
