Abstract

Process for applying coloured designs correctly spaced on a substrate comprises forming the designs on separate adhesive films to be juxtaposed, adhering to the films to the substrate and eliminating the portions outside the patterns. Alternatively the film may be adhered to the substrate first. The film base is e.g. polyethylene terephthalate or PVC) and the surface receiving the pattern may be coated with polyamide resin in which T2O2 is dispersed. The other side of the film has a pressure-activated adhesive protected by a thin polyethylene film coated with a silicone release agent.
