Abstract

The panel is made from a metal, wood or plastics support, whichis painted and allowed to dry. The resin plus additivs is poured on and reacts chemically with the paint where required giving a relief embedded in the mass. The whole panel is immediately covered with a smooth flexible, strippable, strong foil (such as Terfane (RTM) to isolate the resin from the air, giving a smooth, glossy, transparent covering after polymerisation, without polishing.
