Abstract
The polyester consists of a mixt of a flexible polyester pref an unsatd polyester derived from diethylene glycol, and a rigid polyester pref an unsatd polyester from ethylene glycol and/or propylene glycol. The ceramic particles have a size of 5-300 mu and an s.g of 0.7 g/cm2. The material may also contain sec. hollow ceramic particles with a size of 600-1200 mu and an s.g of 0.3-0.9 g/cm3, and tert hollow ceramic particles with a size of >=4000 mu and an s.g of 0.3-0.9 g/cm3. The compsn also contains an accelerator consisting of a Co cpd and an amine, and a catalyst consisting of MEK peroxide and benzoyl peroxide. Used as constructional material. The cured material has low wt and good strength and heat insulations.
