Abstract

Hollow bodies, esp. tubes, are produced from plastics or plastics-metal combinations by (a) sepg. a definite length from an endless tube, or assembling this length from a cut film, (b) leading to a holding mandrel, and (c) joining to a prefabricated tube shoulder by means of an adhesive material which is plasticised by heating. The joining position of the tube body and the tube should is formed as a marked, contrasting intermediate zone. Specif. the material for the joining position is coloured, transparent, and the tube shoulder is printed, decorated or coloured. The joining position is formed as a circular, diagonally ribbed ring or toothed ring, or may be printed.
