Abstract
Ultra-sonic piezoelectric transducer, partic. a high temp. transducer suitable for detecting displacements in a Na-cooled nuclear reactor, in which monocrystal piezo-electric pastilles are fixed with their active faces on a common support and are regularly distributed round >=1 circle with its centre on the detector axis and in a plane perpendicular to this axis, the pastilles being electrically connected together in parallel in such a way that the sound waves they emit are in phase.
