Abstract
Blast furnace evaporative cooling system has supply and discharge pipes connected to separator devices to form a closed circulation system. Each cooling element is directly connected to a supply and discharge pipe so as to form independent, parallel circulation units. The pipes have the same minimum cross-section for all elements so that, if one cooling element is out of action, the others can function as normal.
