Abstract

A refrigeration plant withy air-cooled condenser and output-adjusted compressor has the condenser surface area subdivided into sections which correspond to the part-load stages of the condenser and are permanently associated with them. This enables the necessary excess cooling of the refrigerant to be maintained at all times of the year with a highly variable condensation pressure, thus increasing efficiency.
