Abstract

Package comprising a bag made of flexible (polyethylene) film into a box section with a sleeve type filling valve and a separate container or box made of more rigid (fibrillated propylene) with slots for allowing filling/emptying of the bag. The containers itself features tunnel sections which allow the pack to be raised by a fork lift or sling. Pref. the bag incorporates elastic cords to hold it open during filling and emptying and laces or sliding clasp fastenings to maintain its general shape. Pref. the container is nominally slightly smaller than the liner bag to be sure of fully supporting the mass in the liner. For mfg. bulk packs for powdered or granulated materials in lots up to >=1 tonne. The bag liner is cheap, small, disposable. The container is cheap, light, readily undone and collapses for re-use return journeys.
