Abstract

Stabilised proteolytic additives for washing and detergent powder consisting of a granulate (esp. Na tripolyphosphate) as carrier containing a proteinase, a standard liquid nonionic surface active agent and 5-95 wt.% (esp. 5-35 wt.%) of a Mg salt (on total proteinase, diluent and Mg salt). Suitable surface active agents are ethoxylated pri or sec alcohols. The proteinase is pref. derived from, Bacillus licheniformis. The Mg salt may be 25% MgSO4 or 30% Mg Si3O7. The products can be added to standard washing powders e.g. based on Na perborate. The Mg salt increases the enzymatic stability of the proteinase.
