Abstract
Appts. for feeding liquid metal or alloy to metallurgical vessels (I) e.g. refining vessels in which the metal is continuously treated, comprises a primary mobile vessel (II) pref. a large transporter ladle; which is placed in front of >=2 channels (III) which are each mobile about an axis between a repose posn. or a feed posn. in which the "reception" end is situated below the casting hole of (II) and the "evacuation" end is above an intermediate ladle associated with a particular (III) and which are emptied one after the other into (I).
