Abstract
Gas burner, for heating rough glass mouldings or tubes for mfr of ampoules, has a transverse wall in which tubular channels are arranged for the passage of the gas mixt. and slits communicating with the burner region by a system of other openings which lower the flow velocity of the gas to be burnt, whereby the tubular channels are distributed around the axis of a circular truncated cone whose vertex is before the burner and the slits are circular slots around the channels. The jet has less tendency to extinguish at high oxygen pressure.
