Abstract

Interior tool for tube drawing is a mandrel with front (I) and rear (II) faces and a retaining rod (III) attached to (II) with a longitudinal lubricant feed channel (IV). (I) has a pref. threaded shaft (V) and (IV) extends through the mandrel and a fraction of (V), and >=1 transverse channel is pierced through (V) which puts (IV) in communication with the space surrounding (V). The appts. avoids damage to and improves the finish of the interior surface of the drawn tube.
