The novel title cpds. are of formula (in which R1 is OH, 1-6C alkoxy; or 2-3C alkoxy substd. by a beta-dialkylamino or gamma-dialkylamino radical, or R1 is beta-or gamma-pyrrolidino, piperidino or morpholino, R2 is OH or 1-4C alkanoyloxy and R3 is H, or R2 and R3 together form a keto gp; R4 is n-pentyl, n-hexyl (opt. substd. by a 1-4C straight chain alkyl in one of 1-5 posns. or CH3, C2H5, -CH2-, ethylidene or vinyl, or a CH3 and -CH2-, or 2 CH3 gps. in 6 posn. of the hexyl radical) or R4 is 3-, 4- or 5-hexenyl (opt. substd. by a 1-4C straight chain alkyl in one of 1-6 posns. 1 or 2 of R5, R6, R7, R8 and R9 are 1-4C straight chain alkyl and the others are H; and A is ethylene or vinylene) including salts of cpds. in which R1 is OH.
