Abstract

Compsn. for prodn. of a cellular polymer consists of water, an organic polyisocyanate and an amine salt of an N-substd. carbamic acid which decomposes to form a cpd. contg. at least two active hydrogen-contg. gps. as determined by the Zerewitinoff method, at least one being a prim. or sec. amino gp. Gives cellular polymers with at least one urea bond, of a good cellular structure, a high load carrying capacity and a good flame resistance.
