Abstract
dual function electronic control system for refrigerators or freezers, partic for refrigerators with two temp. regimes and automatic defrosting, of the type using a bridge circuit with a temp variable resistances acting as temp sensors, controlling a switching amplifier, with the improvement whereby at least two separate temp. sensors are used in their own arm of the bridge, the circuit of which is so designed that according to the functional state of the switching amplifier these sensors alternately establish in co-operation with the fixed resistances in the other part of the bridge, a comparison between the design and actual values of the temp. and are simultaneously controlled in such a way that the temps in the compartments to be cooled are only monitored when the compressor motor is operating and that when the latter is at rest, only the temp sensor monitoring the defrosting process is effective.
