Abstract
Detector consists of a semiconductor element pref. ZnO crystal with two electrodes. The element consists of a semiconductor oxide with a first metal pref. Pt and a second metal pref Ga in its crystal lattice which activates the structure to produce ions at a higher rate when a gas is present.
