Abstract

Fungicidal compsn. for control of mildew and Botrytis in vines comprising a mixt. of 1 to 4 pbw of folpet N-(richloromethylthio)phthalimide and 4 to 1 pbw of Cu as Bordeaux mixt. Folpet alone is effective against Botrytis in a dose which is sufficient to retard fermentation of must from the treated grapes. Mixed with Cu as Bordeaux mixt. which is effective against mildew but not against Botrytis, the dosage of folpet may be reduced by 20-90% to a level insufficient to retard fermentation.
