Abstract

Injection system for adding one or more additives to fluid stream has a number of electromagnetically actuated pumps, pref. of diaphragm type used as automobile fuel pump, the number of control signal impulse fed to them per unit time from a pulse generator being a function of flow rate of the stream. The unit is e.g. used for metering of water and solvent naphtha into air/propane mixtures.
