Abstract
Control of upper and lower speed limits of one or more turbo-pump units of liquid-propelled rocket, in which fuel gas with excess H2 or O2 is produced for the turbine to drive the fuel pump, is carried out by withdrawing a portion of excess fuel (H2) from the gas generator, which consists of a pre-combustion chamber, when the lower speed limit is reached, or by adding a quantity of deficiency fuel (O2) to the fuel gas. When the upper speed limit is reached, the quantity of deficiency fuel (O2) supplied to the gas generator is reduced, or a quantity of excess fuel (H2) is added to the gas generator or to the fuel gas produced by it.
