Abstract

Compsns. contg. 5-040% PbO, 3-25% of a 10% soln. of acetic acid and 35-92% vitamin F possess anti-pruritis, antiallergic, anti-inflammatory and cicatrising activity. The vit. F is usually added as a mixture of a vegetable oil and an animal fat, and the compsns. are prepd. by dissolving the PbO in the acetic acid, and adding the vegetable oil followed by the animal fat.
