Abstract

A roof cover or chimney surround of plastic material partic. glass-fibre reinforced polyester, has special bosses, adapted to fit Roman tiled roofs forming a tight joint with the roof. The panel fitting into the roof is integral with the framework of the opening or surround of the chimney. Other bosses on the lateral sides simulate the appearance of the roof tiles and are formed integrally with panel. The opening portion may also be of plastic and may have stiffening ribs. The side bosses facilitate the flow of water down the roof and the need for an embosses paper covering to a chimney is removed.
