Abstract
Stable trioxane copolymers are prepd. by copolymerising trioxane with a cyclohexyl-1,3-dioxepane of formula (I), in the presence of a cationic catalyst. (where R is H, OCOCH3, COOCH3 or NO2). The units of (I) are uniformly distributed in the copolymer, so that the copolymer has a good stability, and a high strength. The copolymers can be processed in ordinary moulding machines to articles with excellent properties.
