Abstract

Two compatible synthetic yarns (of e.g. polyamide polyester, polyacrylonitrile) are assembled with air jets at a speed differential of pref. 2-6% to form a textured composite yarn which is subsequently false twisted at pref. a retardation of 1-10%.
