Abstract

Water is treated with CaCO3 (75-80%) and MgCO3 (13-20%) together with traces of B, Cu, Mn, Co, S, P, SiO2, Mo and V, in order to increase the level of microorganisms and crustaceans in the water, thus improving the vitamin and oxygen content of the water. The treated water is useful in pisiculture, agriculture, health and hygiene etc. Dolomite may be used as carbonate source and particle sizes of about 1-3 mu are suitable.
