Abstract

A stabilised, natural hygienic drink, which does not contain any chemical additives, is prepd. by grinding up pistachio nuts and sweet and bitter almonds, emulsifying the ground up product is sugared water, filtering the emulsion bringing it to boiling point and leaving it to cool at room temp. The sugared water not only dissolves the aromatic juices ensuring extraction of the milk of almonds but fixes the oils remaining on the separated vegetable fibres, so that the drink does not deteriorate through acid oxidation.
