Abstract
Piezo-electric ceramic compound is prepared by making a solid solution from a material whose composition is enclosed by a figure formed by the connecting lines between limiting points A, B, C, D, E and F, of the compounds- A) Pb(Li1/4 Nb3/1)0.375Ti0.625O3; B) Pb(Li 1/4 Nb 3/4)0.250 Ti0.750O3; C) Pb(Li 1/4 Nb 3/4) 0.010 Ti0.750Zr0.240O3; D) Pb(Li 1/4 Nb 3/4)0.010Ti 0.115Zr0.875O3; E) Pb(Li 1/4 Nb 3/4)0.125Zr0.875O3; and F) Pb(Li 1/4 Nb 3/4)0.375Zr0.625O3. The compounds also contain an amount of manganese, equivalent to an addition of 0.1 to 5% by wt. MnO2.
