Abstract

Castor oil loses its corrosive nature during burn-out, yet retains its high dielectric onstant (4.6) if it contains 0.005-5% antioxidants (0.05-0.5% di-tert-butyl-p-cresol) and a metal deactivator containing carboxyl and amino groups. Acids are made innocuous by an admixture of 1-epoxy ethyl-3,4-epoxy cyclohexane.
