Abstract
Purifier has, in the basin adjacent to the ventilation and post-purifications chambers, a rotting chamber connected directly to the ventilations chamber by an overflow. The rotting chamber is at the feed side of the effluent. In the centre of the ventilation chamber a paddle rotates about the vertical axis and has two pairs of cruciform paddle blades. The top pair stands at an angle to the horizontal and is fitted in the upper half of the basin. The bottom pair is in a vertical position approximately at half the height of the basis and is larger than the upper pair. Seen in projection, triangular channels are provided in the corners of the ventilation space and these terminate just above the bottom of the basin. In the rotting space is a supply channel for the effluent to be purified, the bottom end of which is at about the same height as the bottom of the overflow.
