Abstract
In ovens as described in FR 1584942 the humidifiers are placed outside the baking chamber between the tubes rising above the hearth and those descending to feed the baking chambers. Alternatively they lie between the rising tubes and the oven casing, in which case they are heated by gas tapped from the hearth.
