Abstract
Covers a substantially homogeneous cellular structure; plates, bricks, tubular sleeving for thermal and acoustic insulation. The cells are of honeycomb structure with an apparent specific mass below 250 kg/m3 and composed of natural or synthetic clay which contains 30% min Al2O3 and to which usual additives are mixed such as other silicates, slag, basalt, etc in fine grain form. The average radius of the pores is 3 mm max.
