Abstract

The roll frame of the roll (10) comprises a cylindrical mantle (11) with thin walls and a core part (12), which fills said cylindrical mantle fully or at least partly and which has been made of a filler material that has a low weight but that endures loading in the press direction well. The invention also concerns a method for manufacture of the roll.
