Description

The present invention relates to an arrangement for providing a disposable box, which is primarily intended to contain a compressed article, in particular in the form of a plate, and to a box for holding the article together, the arrangement comprising , which comprises at least four fixed columns.

Recently, the demand for disposable boxes has grown strongly. In this context, more attention has been paid to existing systems than in the past, as there has been a desire for a more practical and 5 cheaper system in which the existing seal can be utilized. The main disadvantages of the current system are: - high material consumption - time-consuming and laborious procedure in the manufacture of bales; 10 and - construction, which has become increasingly expensive due to rising timber costs.

The invention provides an arrangement which eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages. The new arrangement is characterized in that it comprises assembly parts comprising tubular sleeves, each of which is intended to be pushed onto a corresponding column to allow the goods to be packed and held between the sleeves and to reduce friction between the goods and the structure, and externally the goods, a coating on the sleeves and any other cohesive parts, in particular a plastic film, intended to hold and protect the goods and to allow the finished disposable box to be lifted out of the structure, e.g.

The preferred embodiment of the arrangement according to the invention shown in Figure 1 comprises partly a structure, partly parts intended to hold the article together when packed into the structure.

The structure comprises a rectangular base plate 10 and four vertical columns attached to the corners of the base plate. The structure is preferably made of metal, preferably steel. The base plate 10 is provided with two similar transverse recesses 14 shaped to fit the fork of a forklift truck (not shown) which lifts the finished box from the structure and delivers it to a warehouse or construction site. Each vertical column 12 has a height substantially corresponding to the height of the article to be packaged.

The base part 18, which in the present case consists of a cardboard 2, is now placed on the base plate 10 and 3 of the structure. will therefore be on the fork recesses 4 14 of the forklift truck. 5 An endless strip wall 22 is now placed over the two tubular sleeves 12 located at both short ends of the base plate 10. This should have a tight fit with respect to the respective sleeves 16 placed on each vertical column 12 and is preferably made of 10 made of sturdy cardboard or plastic material. In this way, the endless strip walls 22 form opposing side walls in the finished disposable box. This prevents the compacted goods, in particular the plate packs, from swelling out laterally. Figure 2 shows the finished box still in place in a structure comprising the parts shown in Figure 1 in a coordinated state. It is also particularly important to provide a strong cover layer so that the disposable box stays well in size 25 and becomes weatherproof. With the fork of a forklift truck not shown, it is now easy to lift the finished disposable box, whereby the tubular sleeves 16 rise from the sleeves 12 of the structure and thus follow the box during transport as part of the box cover material 30. Modifications of the arrangement described above can, of course, be made within the scope of the inventive idea. Thus, it is not absolutely necessary to use endless ribbons. Instead, for example, three or more columns with their respective sleeves can be used, which are fastened to opposite ends of the structure, which together form a sufficiently resistant end wall.
