Abstract

Method for burning black liquor in a soda pan in conjunction with a method for production of bleached pulp, in which method the combustion process is supplied with preheated primary combustion air and preheated secondary combustion air and tertiary combustion air to increase the oxygen content in the combustion gases. At least one of the combustion airs is preheated with the hot waste water from the bleaching unit.
