Abstract
The control system operates a railtrack system and has specific sections of track defined (6-17) that are related to time frames for specific vehicles (1, 2). The system is continuously monitored and the degree of overlap measured to a time-base between vehicles is determined. The degree of conflict due to the overlap is classified based upon threshold values that can be individually changed. Control actions can be applied to maintain safe levels.
