Abstract

The invention relates to a connecting clamp without screws for a contact rail (2) such as an edge earthing clip for a wall socket or the like, having a metallic clamp support (1) with two push-in channels (22), located side-by-side at a distance, to form push-in regions for holding in each case a stripped end section of a connecting conductor, and having a central part (11), arranged between the push-in channels (22), with a spring holder (21) for holding an integral clamp spring (14), which can be inserted from outside and has two pairs of tongues each with two tongues (32, 33) located one behind the other, it being possible to insert in each case one tongue pair into one push-in region. For ease of manufacture and good material utilisation, according to the invention a recess (4) is constructed in the contact rail (2, 2'), into which the central part (11) of the clamp support (1), constructed separately from the contact rail (2, 2'), can be inserted, each push-in region is formed in regions by a contact part web (36) of the contact rail (2, 2') and the clamp spring (14) can be inserted into the spring holder (21) such that the clamp holder (1) and the end section of each connecting conductor are fixed by pretension with respect to the contact rail (2, 2') and with respect to the associated connecting section. Each clamp support (1) can be connected in a simple manner to a plug contact (2, 2'), it being possible to isolate the clamp support (1) by pressing the clamp support (1) into the recess (4). <IMAGE>
