Abstract

Radiation and convection element for ceiling installations in rooms and containing two heat exchangers arranged at a spacing from each other, each of which is in heat conducting contact with vertical side walls 2, 3 in an element housing 1 open upward and downward and intended to be traversed by an air stream. The objective of the invention is to create an arrangement with which it is possible to combine heat uptake and release by radiation of direct cooling or heating by convection in the same element. This is achieved by the fact that the heat exchangers 6 have a flange tube, the side walls 2, 3 of the element housing 1 are held together by clips 4, 5 or the like and the element housing is designed with a removable lower end wall 7 arranged at a certain spacing from the lower edge of the side walls 2, 3 of element housing 1 forming slits 10 that extend along essentially the entire element housing where the air steam cooled in the heat exchanger and that a ventilation channel 15 is arranged between the exchanger 6 to which the room can be supplied with air via slits 10. <IMAGE>
