Abstract

An arrangement for rinsing with a rinsing liquid, especially of wires in paper machines. The rinsing arrangement includes a drive device that causes rotational movement in a changeable direction (not shown in the figure), a movement converter 1 that converts rotational movement to back-and-forth linear movement and a rinsing apparatus 2 that releases rinsing jets with an intake 52 for rinsing liquid. The movement converter 1 contains a movement screw with corresponding nut, one part of which is connected to the drive device to take up its rotational movement and the other part of which is connected to a shaft 10 emerging from the movement converter 1 to impart linear motion to it, which becomes a back-and-forth movement by changing the direction of rotation of the drive device. The shaft 10 is connected via a rod 54 to an internal tube 30 in the rinsing device 2 provided with the rinsing nozzle 31, in which the inner tube 30 has a number of bearing devices 33 on the outside connected to slide with it, in addition to which the rinsing device 2 contains an outer tube 32 surrounding the inner tube 30 provided with an opening 34 for the rinsing jets. <IMAGE>
