Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify an azimuth rotating device, by using dry-bearings for the bearings. CONSTITUTION:When an antenna is directed to an arbitrary direction as shown in figure, a driving arm 2 rotates around the rotating center through the extension and shrinking of a screw rod incorporated in a driving section 1. One of a driving arm 2 is connected to a swing lower part 15, and a swing upper part 14 and the swing lower part 15 rotate together with the rotation of the arm 2, allowing to move the antenna to an arbitrary direction. A dry bar bearing 17 absorbs friction caused at the rotation of the antenna. In this case, since the dry bearing 17 is very thin in comparison with conventional bearings, the size of the swing part 15 is almost the same as that of a fixed part 16 and since no accessory such as bearing fixing ring is required, small-sized devices can be made easy. No lubrication oil such as grease is required, allowing to eliminate the need for maintenance.
