Abstract

A prefabricated panel wall consists of posts each consisting of two profile bodies 2, preferably made of wood, with an essentially T-shaped cross section, which profile bodies are held together by two metal plate elements 1 which are bent to form a channel and have side edge portions which project into narrow slots in the mutually facing central portions of the profile bodies. The plate elements form, in combination with the edge flanges 4 of the profile bodies, grooves 3 in which the side edge portions of the panels 5 are received. The panel wall allows extensive standardization of the component elements. <IMAGE>
