Abstract

The strips (3) in each pair are arranged on opposite sides of and bound to the plate (2) along its entire length to form flanges along the beam length. The strips in each pair run at a specific distance from a corresponding longitudinal edge of the plate, so that the plate edge parts extend outside the respective strip pair, forming a longitudinal tongue (4) along each of the beam flanges. The tongue has a longitudinal central part (14) intended to work in conjunction with a narrowing part of a groove (7) in a building component, such as a board, when it is fitted on the construction beam (1). The tongues are bevelled towards their free edges and formed to work in conjunction with a groove in a building component, the groove having towards a narrowed part a wedge-shaped narrowing outer part.
