Claims (8)

1. Förfarande för behandling av sulfidkoncentrat eller -maimer tili rämetall i en och samma behandlingsenhet (1), vid vilket förfarande frän chargen bestäende av det sulfidmaterial, som skall behandlas i behandlingsenhetens smältningszon, slaggningsmaterial och oxiderings-gas produceras en smält slaggfas (6) och sulfidisk smält skärsten (5) och vid vilket den smälta slaggfasen (6) och den sulfidiska smälta skärstenen (5) avlägsnas frän var sin tappningsöppning (17,18) och vid vilket förfarande den frän ugnen tappade smälta skärstenen (5) stelnas tili fasta partiklar och den erhällna fasta skärstenen konverteras tili rämetall, kännetecknat av att den finfördelade, fasta skärstenen (5) returneras tili behandlingsenheten (1) genom ett konverteringsschakt (10) tillsammans med slaggnirigs-materialet och oxideringsgasen för konvertering av skärstenen tili rämetall och att i konverteringszonens settlerdel (13) ästadkoms jämvikt mellan tvä smältfaser (11,12) och att avgaserna frän säväl konverteringszonen (15) som smältningszonen (16) avlägsnas genom ett gemensamt stigschakt (4) och att sammanblandning av smältfaserna i konverteringszonens settlerdel (13) och smältningszonens settlerdel (3) är ätminstone delvis förhindrad.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat av att i konverteringszonens settlerdel (13) ästadkoms jämvikt mellan konverteringsslagg (12) och rämetall (11).
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1 och 2, kännetecknat av att slagget (6) frän smältningszonen och slagget (12) frän konverteringszonen avlägsnas genom samma tappningsöppning (17). U. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, 2 eller 3, kännetecknat av att skärstenen (5) frän smältningszonen och rämetallen (11) frän konverteringszonen separerats frän varandra.
5. Förfarande enligt nägot av de föregäende patentkraven, kännetecknat av att strömning av de i smältningszonen producerade faserna (5,6) in i konverteringszonens settlerdel (13) förhindras.
