Claims (4)

1. Förfarande för identifiering av en gram-negativ mikroorganism stamm i ett västkeprov, vilket förfarande omfattar steg, där man upp-delar provet i minst 14 subprov, ympar varje subprov med ett tillväxt-hindrande medel, som dä det reagerar med subproven möjliggör en identi-fiering av mikroorganismstammen i provet, varvid man för ympningen av varje subprov använder olika tillväxthindrande medel och/eller olika mängder av tillväxthindrande medel och varvid de fiesta av dessa tillväxthindrande medel ej allmänt används terapeutiskt i samband med mikroorganisminfektioner, inkuberar subproven för att utveckla eventuella betydande skillnader i mikroorganismernas tidlväxt, bestämmer mikroorganismens tillväxt i varje subprov och jämför tili-växtvärdena med värden gällande motsvarande tillväxthindrande medel frän en mikroorganism -identifieringsbank, varmed mikroorganism-stammen i provet identifieras, kännetecknat därav, att de tillväxthindrande medlen är valda ur en grupp bestäende av akri-flavin, 9 -aminoakridin, auramin 0®, briljantgrönt®, setrimid, koboltklorid, kupriklorid, cykloserin, 3,5 -dibromsalicylsyra, dode- (r) kylaminhydrokjlorid, 5 -fluoruracil, floxuridin, malakitgrönt metylenblätt omadinsulfid, natriumomadin, natriumazid, tallium-acetat, 2',31, 4' -trihydroxiacetofenon, basitracin, karbenicillin, kefalotin, kolistin, kanamycin, metenaminmandelat, nalidixinsyra, nitrofurantoin, novobiocin, polymyxin B och tetracyklin.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att tillväxtvärdet erhälles fotometriskt.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, kännetecknat därav, att ytterligare ett subprov används, vilket
